This is Serena, who came to us all the way from Washington State! Serena was bred by my good friend Tammy Roark who lives near Vancouver. Serena purrs almost constantly, is very busy and friendly to both people and other cats, and enjoys herself in the showhall.
Ever since I met Serena's grandmother Meghan in 1998, I have wanted one of Meghan's offspring. Meghan herself loves the showhall and gives the judges kisses! We are lucky to have Serena and her very sweet personality, and can't wait to see the kittens she will produce.

Serena is very playful. It's difficult to get a good still shot of her! She has beautiful green eyes, a good earset, and really nice ticking. Her coat is silky and plush, and makes me want to pet her a lot - which she doesn't mind at all! She likes to sleep under the covers next to me.
Here are some pictures of Serena as a kitten. Isn't she cute! I'm not sure growing up has slowed her down any though. Serena plays hard with anything on a string - she'll chase it until she's worn out, and then she still doesn't want to give up.
Here you can see Serena's pretty green eyes. We hope she passed those on to some of her kittens, born in April 2002. The babies were 8 weeks old when this photo was taken - Serena runs around the room and the babies chase her. She never runs so fast that they can't catch her, so clearly they are all having fun with this game. See photos of her kittens here.

We finally had some professional photos done of Serena. Here she is about 2.5 years old. Even though she's had 2 litters of kittens, she still loves to play and is amazingly fast!
