Today is our birthday!  2 girls, 1 blue and 1 fawn

1 week old!

3 weeks old and what a difference

5 weeks old now.  Momma Izzy has chewed off their whiskers.  Some momcats will do this - some people think it's to restrict their traveling too far from the nest, but Izzy isn't telling.  It does make their little faces look kinda funny though.

7 weeks old and running around like - well - like 7 week old kittens!  Although the hair length appears the same at this point, the texture is totally different.  At this point we think the blue girl is a Somali, and the fawn is an Abyssinian variant (Aby with a Somali parent, therefore carrying the longhaired Somali gene).
